A Nigerian by name Yolo B Smith has received $10,000 from Shell Nigeria for converting plastic wastes into durable interlocking bricks.
The $10,000 from Shell Nigeria is to help him expand the project, and support the conversion of plastic wastes to motorable roads.
The positive effect of this creative initiative is not limited to drastic reduction of plastic waste in the environment, especially roadsides and drainages (gutters), but the waters will be free of plastic waste.
The creativity of an average Nigerian cannot be overemphasized. Nigerian youths home and in diaspora are doing great.
